• Review the function and operation of university faculty meetings to improve opportunities for discourse among all faculty on issues and priorities of the university community (02-25-04)

d.   Update: Council of Deans regarding President’s List and Dean’s List (Vice President Gormly)

• Parking Lot: Sent to Council of Deans for review, any proposed policy changes would be reviewed by University Senate: Review qualifications for deans and presidents list (08-25-05)

e.   Update: Governance Retreat Planning Committee (members, charge, ECUS ad hoc, budget) (Bill)

f.    Consider: ECUS Social (Should we continue the "tradition" started last year?)

Determine future meeting dates (if any) for ECUS/SCC meetings in November/December 2007

Feedback from the entire group on two documents

o        Meeting Etiquette DRAFT (elected faculty on ECUS have reached consensus)

o        Governance Calendar (elected faculty on ECUS have reached consensus)

Governance Retreat Committee Composition Update (representation across schools? invite Senators at Oct Senate meeting?)

Request for feedback on respective committee scope/composition to allow time to adjust bylaws as necessary

Each committee offer suggestions on its own membership/scope to allow time for bylaws tweaks to be on March 2008 agenda
