Tentative Agenda

 

·      Introductions

·      What is the work to be done?

·          Top Priority for Fall 06:  US Bylaws revisions completed and recommended to ECUS by November 08 or earlier (opportunities for feedback from US, campus?)

·          On the Radar:  Input, feedback and review of policy framework including coding and template for policy development

·          Spring Work:  Teaching and learning to develop a sustainable leadership cadre for shared governance

·     How do we organize to do the work in a timely manner utilizing committee expertise?

·          Drafting committee for US Bylaws with initial direction, feedback and final approval by the full committee?

·          Is a regular meeting time for the full committee possible on selected Wednesdays from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm for those times taken by university functions?

o         Suggestions for full committee dates:  August 23, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm; September 06, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm; September 13, 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm; October 11, 18, 25 at 12:30 pm; November 08, 12:30 pm for recommendation to ECUS.  All 12:30 pm start times to move to 2:00 pm if needed to attend university functions.
