Last fall, the Faculty Affairs Policies Committee of the University
Senate
considered the issue of the need to coordinate the feedback faculty
receive
from their department chairs with the timing for merit adjustments. As a
result of this discussion, I have created a chart indicating the new
deadlines that were recommended as well as other key performance
evaluation
dates that are important to faculty. I have attached the Performance
Review
Table for your benefit. I will also make sure that this document is
lodged
on the Academic Affairs website for future reference. Additionally, I am
attaching the FAPC recommendation regarding the alignment of IFRs,
evaluations, and merit pay. Please let me know if you have any
questions.
I realize that this information may be new information for some of you
since
communication lines sometimes get tangled. So I am sending this to
clarify
and hopefully facilitate better communication.
