I met with Susan Allen yesterday afternoon to indicate that at the 2 Mar 2012 FAPC meeting, when the topic of faculty feedback on the bimonthly pay option under consideration by Shared Services came up on the agenda, some committee members expressed an interest in having more detailed information (e.g. whether the bimonthly would mean 20 checks over 10 months or 24 checks over 12 months) before offering feedback or consulting with their constituencies for feedback.
Susan Allen responded with
(1) there was never any discussion/information that addressed possible 10 or 12 bimonthly options
(2) the bimonthly-option conversations have waned over the last couple of months
(3) as more factual information becomes available, I'll keep you and the group posted
