University Senate Retreat Participants,

Welcome to the start of the 2016-17 University Senate and thank you for your willingness to attend the annual senate retreat, Tuesday, August 9, at Rock Eagle 4-H Conference Center, Hastings Building (350 Rock Eagle Road, Eatonton, Georgia).  Attached for your reference are the retreat agenda, a map of the event location, and shuttle transportation list.

For those of you riding the GC Shuttle (list attached), the shuttle will be ready for loading at the Peabody parking lot at 8:00 am and will depart promptly at 8:30 am.  Please arrive no later than 8:15 am for check-in.  To ensure all shuttle riders are accounted for prior to departure, please use the survey link below to provide your best point of contact (e.g. cell phone number). We will give you a courtesy call in the event that you are not present by 8:20 am.

For those of you providing your own transportation, please check-in at the security guard station once you enter the Rock Eagle facility and inform the person on duty that you are attending the Georgia College meeting at the Hastings Building.

This year, we are offering a concurrent session with a workshop for new senators/volunteers/appointees (Orientation to the University Senate) and a workshop for returning members (13 Years Later: Where Do We Go From Here?).  To ensure proper planning, please use the survey link below to select the workshop you will be attending – returning members have the option of attending either workshop while new members are strongly encouraged to attend the Orientation.

The deadline to respond is Friday, August 5th.
