Dear Senators,

 

We are in the early planning stages for the 2012 Governance Retreat and need some input from you. The retreat will be an overnight event held at Callaway Gardens starting on the evening of Tuesday August 7^th and concluding by mid-afternoon Wednesday August 8^th.

 

Accommodation (single occupancy), meals, and transportation will be provided for all participants. Bus transportation will be provided from Milledgeville, with the possibility of an additional pick-up/drop-off point in Macon. The tentative plan is to leave Milledgeville around 3pm on Tuesday August 7^th and return by 5pm on Wednesday. Please note that Tuesday August 7^th is Assessment Day and so you may need to notify your department/college assessment coordinator to let them know that you will need to leave at that time.

The primary purpose of this registration process is to provide numbers for room bookings and catering. Also, if you have any ideas for session topics or issues for discussion, please include these on the survey form. Reminders will be sent out starting June 15^th, so if you don’t want to be inundated with emails, please complete the survey as soon as possible (even if you do not plan to attend).

 

Further details regarding the retreat will be made available later in the summer.
