Academic Policy Committee Report at Senate Meeting 08/25/2008

The Committee met on Friday 08/22/2008 in Atkinson Hall Room #202 at 12:30 PM.

This initial meeting consisted of introduction of all members of the committee and the establishing of a working list of issues the committee will discuss at future meetings.

These issues include:

·       First day no show policy

·       Conditions for restricted enrollment

·       Establishment of medical withdrawal guidelines

·       Clarity of form usage

·       Written agreements between student and professor for incomplete grades

·       Establishment of a limit on the number of Maymester classes a student can take. Current policy is not enforced and needs to be consistent.

·       Advisement guidelines

·       Withdrawal limits

All meeting are open to members of the Senate who which to attend.
