Faculty Affairs Policy Committee (FAPC) Report
given at the Monday, March 31, 2008 University Senate Meeting

1) Appeal of Faculty Evaluation: Dr. Gormly presented the draft: Process for an Appeal of the Department Chair's Faculty Evaluation. Three major changes were noted:
· 10 days to file a written appeal (change from 20 days)
· Information regarding discrimination was added
The Committee agreed that the changes were viable.
2) Faculty Bylaws: Faculty Bylaws were last updated April 2001. Todd Shiver, Craig Turner and Mike Rose will update the document and bring it to the April 2008 committee meeting for review.
3) FAPC Annual Report: Committee agreed on a process to submit this report by the May 1 deadline.
