10/31/05 Senate meeting

1. The Department of Mathematics & Computer Science is now the Department of Mathematics and the Department of History and Geography is now the Department of History, Geography, and Philosophy.

2. Michael Gass reported that the student opinion survey will be given only during the last 4 weeks of the semester, except for approved exceptions.

3. Chris Lowery was added to the core curriculum committee, and Jane gave an update on the committee’s work.

4. Proposal presented for policy change for US/GA History Exams.

5. Proposal presented for new math class.

6. Proposal presented for New IRB Policy.

7. The next meeting is 11/4 at 12:30 in A&S 2-51 (Agenda items due today.)
