The B&P committee met on 26 August at 12:30.  We conducted the following business:

 

1)         elected officers for the coming year

            a)         Chair: Karynne Kleine

            b)         Vice Chair: Richard Mercier

            c)         Secretary: Jan Flynn

 

2)         agreed to continue using the operating procedure followed last year

 

3)         heard Dave Groseclose’s presentation about how the budgeting process will become

            more transparent and inclusive with the use of a form/process to initiate from departments

            regarding their needs.  From there, Deans will present school requests in university forums

 

4)         set the next meeting date for Wednesday, 7 September in the library conference

room at 12:30
