Senator Election Process

 

Call for Nominations

·        Nominations open November 2, 2009.

·        A list of eligible faculty members will be delivered via email.

·        Nominations will be accepted through an electronic form and/or accepted from the floor during the College of Health Sciences Unit meeting on November 20, 2009.

·        Nominations will close November 20, 2009.

 

Election

·        Nominated faculty must accept his/her nomination in order to be placed on the ballot.

·        Eligibility to vote is determined from the Corps of Instruction counted in the apportionment of Senators

 

Voting Method

·        Voting will open November 24

·        Voting will close December 7

·        Voting will take place by secret ballot.

·        The Faculty member receiving the most votes will be declared the elected College of Health Sciences Senator

·        In case of a tie a run-off election will be conducted beginning January 11th and ending January 25th.

 

Announcement of Election Results no later than February 1st
