SENATE ELECTION RESULTS - SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

The School of Business faculty met on Friday, November 21, 2008. During that
regularly scheduled business meeting they elected senators as follows:

Management - Mike Whitfield, 3-year term (2009-10, 10-11, and 11-12)
Economics - John Swinton, 3-year term (2009-10, 10-11, and 11-12)
At-large - Tanya Goette, 2-year term (2009-10, 10-11)

All three have completed more that two years of service to the university
and all are members of the Corps of Instruction.

ELECTION PROCEDURES

Election procedures in the School of Business have remained unchanged for a
number of years.

A nomination for each departmental position is solicited in a call to the
department faculty members by the department chair. The nominee from the
department is voted on by the School faculty as a whole in a school-wide
faculty meeting.

A nomination for the school-wide position is solicited in a call to the
entire faculty. The nominee for the school-wide position is voted on by the
School faculty as a whole in a school-wide faculty meeting.
