School of Liberal Arts & Sciences
In the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Senators are elected from academic departments. We apportion Senate seats according to the proportion of faculty members in the departments, using the lists provided by the Senate. However, since the philosophy faculty will be moved to the Department of History and Geography in the fall of 2005, we adjusted the faculty numbers to reflect that change for next year.
This table shows the apportionment of Senate seats in the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences. The names in bold are the newly-elected Senators, the names in the standard typeface are the returning Senators.
