Subject: ECUS Meeting Feb 27th will be a faculty workshop

SHORT AND SWEET:
The ECUS meeting on Tues, February 27 is cancelled but the elected faculty
will meet.  The joint meeting of ECUS with standing committee chairs for Tue
March 13 is tentatively scheduled for 3:00 - 5:00.  Additional details for Feb 27
meeting below.

DETAILS:
There will NOT be a meeting of the full Executive Committee on Tues, February 27th
but rather a meeting of the elected faculty  (tentative agenda below).  Any suggestions
for other matters requiring attention are welcome.

Naturally, President Leland, Dr. Gormly, and Dr. Reynolds are welcome to join us.

Tentative agenda for the elected faculty workshop
Tuesday, February 27th
3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location of this meeting to be determined by Karynne Kleine

1.  AT-LARGE ELECTION: information (if any)
2.  RECOGNITION (determine process for drafting the certificate text for the various recognitions)
3.  ECUS ANNUAL REPORT  2006-2007 (what process do we want to follow in its creation/drafting)
4.  ECUS CHECKLISTS:  Are drafts ok?  Are there other checklists we should prepare?
5.  COMMITTEE PREFERENCE and INTEREST SURVEYS: to inform Committee on Nominations work
6.  ECUS PARKING LOTS:  Are there any items on the parking lots that require our attention?
7.  Vision: Are there any particular items that we as a committee need to complete prior to end of 2006-2007
8.  Set tentative agenda for (or cancel) Mar 6, 2007 ECUS meeting
9.  Set tentative agenda for Mar 13, 2007 ECUS meeting (joint with SCC)
10.  Other business as needed.
