Dixon Reynolds has resigned his position on the University Senate. The elected faculty position that Dixon resigned has a two year term
of service from 2008 to 2010
The relevant University Senate Bylaw is as follows IV.Section 5. Vacancies on the University Senate Committees that occur
during the term of service shall be filled for the remainder of that term in the same manner as the original election or appointment.
In this case the elected faculty position was apportioned to the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences and within the school, apportioned to Music and
Theatre.
Please arrange to name a replacement at your earliest convenience. At present elected faculty senators are providing their preferences for
committee work and the meetings for this elected faculty senator during the 2007-2008 academic year would be three in number.
1. Fri April 25, 2008 12:30-1:45 Organizational Meeting of the 2008-2009 University Senate A&S 2-72
2. Wed, April 30, 2008 12:30-1:45 Organizational Meetings of the 2008-2009 University Senate Committees Committee officers are elected
3. Th, May 8, 2008 (All day) Governance Retreat for the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 University Senators
