Subject: School of Business Faculty University Elections

The School of Business faculty met on Monday, March 31 and conducted  its elections for University Senate. 32 faculty were in attendance.

Process: The faculty voted to elect one person from each of its four Departments and one at large position. Nominations were made and seconded from the floor. More than one candidate was nominated for each slot and secret ballots were used for the election. In two Departments where three individuals were nominated run off elections were held. After the Department representatives were elected, nominations for the at large position were made and a secret ballot was taken. A run off was held in that race. All candidates elected received a majority of the 32 faculty voting.

Results:

• Accounting: Mehenna Yakhou
• Eco, Finance & Mkt: Lucky Narain
• Management: Bo Beadles
• ISC: Doug Goings
• At large: Tonya Goette

The votes were counted by Glynna Morse and Lynn Hanson. Ms. Hanson has maintained the actual ballots from the election if anyone wants to audit them.
